City Wins Grant for Madison Avenue Planning

Lakewood Five Guys Burgers And Fries To Open December 3rd

Lakewood, OH – Five Guys Burgers and Fries will open its newest store on Detroit Avenue in Lakewood on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM.  There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate the opening. It is open to the public.

Lakewood Leaf Pickup Begins

The City of Lakewood will begin collecting loose leaves on Monday, November 2, 2009 and will continue until Lakewood leaf pick upapproximately December 11, 2009, weather permitting. Starting Monday, residents don't have to bag loose leaves -- just leave them on the curb (not in the street) and city crews will pick them up.
