Lakewood, Ohio - Heritage Ohio awarded the "Main Street Manager of the Year" to Mary Anne Crampton, executive director ofLakewoodAlive's Mary Anne Crampton LakewoodAlive. Crampton accepted the award Thursday, June 17 at Heritage Ohio's Annual Preservation and Revitalization Awards Ceremony held at the Baker Center on the campus of Ohio University. The Awards Ceremony is held in conjunction with Heritage Ohio's Statewide Conference.

LAKEWOOD -- St. James Catholic Church has been a Lakewood icon for 102 years.  Despite its strong parish, St. James was one of the churches chosen to close as part of the plan to restructure the Cleveland Diocese.

Lakewood schools owed over $5 million in delinquent property taxes

The twin-towered church isSt. James Church, Lakewood, Ohio the inaugural recipient of an interior Historic Preservation Designation since the new zoning was passed late last year.
