It's that time again and teams can now register to participate in the Cornhole Tournament. The event is on Lakewood CornholeSaturday, June 27, 2009 and starts at Noon.  Teams can register online and even order the Official Lakewood Cornhole T-Shirt for the event.

Lakewood Resurfacing More Streets This Year

As you drive through Lakewood, you may have noticed that there is a lot of road construction occurring all over the city. In fact, there are more streets Lakewood Streetsbeing resurfaced this year than there have been in any of the last 20 years. The City will be resurfacing over 7.5 miles of street, which is more than triple the average done in recent years.

Discount Prescription Drug Program for Lakewood Residents

The City of Lakewood’s Discount Prescription Drug Program starts today. The city is making free prescription drug discount cards available to city residentsprescription drugs through a program sponsored by the National League of Cities. The discount cards offer average savings of 20 percent off the retail price of commonly prescribed drugs.
