The economic downturn has left empty storefronts on main streets in cities all across Northeast Ohio, but the city of Lakewood is making strides in attracting small businesses and helping them grow. Through loan programs and the new Buy Lakewood Loyalty card, the city is hoping to bring new and expanding businesses to the city and help keep revenue at home.
